State PSC Age Calculator — BPSC, MPPSC, WBCS, CGPSC
State Public Service Commission exams — BPSC (Bihar), MPPSC (Madhya Pradesh), WBCS (West Bengal), and CGPSC (Chhattisgarh) — have different age limits, cutoff dates, and domicile rules that are often misunderstood. This calculator covers all four with verified data from June 2026 notifications.
Key Differences From Central Exams
Cutoff dates vary: BPSC uniquely uses August 1 (same as UPSC). Most other State PSCs including MPPSC, WBCS, and CGPSC use January 1.
Domicile rules are critical: MPPSC relaxations apply only to MP domicile holders — an OBC candidate from another state is treated as General (max 40 years). Similarly, CGPSC non-domicile candidates face a stricter 30-year General limit versus 35 years for CG domicile holders.
EWS relaxation: Unlike what many assume, EWS candidates do NOT get extra age relaxation. MPPSC's extra EWS relaxation was struck down by the MP High Court. In all four exams, EWS max age = same as General.
